In Data By Design we walk you through three steps to set yourself up for success as a 1-person data team.

STEP ONE

We'll design a custom data architecture strategy for you.

We'll present you with a custom end-to-end strategy and step-by-step plan to build a reliable, modern data workflow you'll love to use.

This includes:

  • A Recommended Database Layout
  • Environments & Workflow
  • Modeling Suggestions
  • Naming Conventions
  • Security Roles
  • And more...

If you love it - we'll move on to Step 2. And if you don’t, you can walk away at no extra cost and still keep the plan.

STEP TWO

Get step-by-step guidance to implement your first pipeline.

With a plan in place, we'll then work with you one-on-one to help you properly implement the design while avoiding common costly mistakes.

But unlike typical "consulting" services, we don't build it for you.

Instead, we guide you step-by-step through the process of setting up an initial end-to-end pipeline up on your own - we call this the "Pilot Pipeline".

We believe doing it "with" vs "for" is more beneficial for the following reasons:

Once the foundational pipeline is in place, we'll have a Final Review and deliver a custom Data Architecture Handbook for you to keep.

This Handbook consolidates key information about your new architecture so you know exactly what's in place and stay organized as you continue to scale.

This is a living document to support on-going maintenance and on-boarding future hires.
